Chiemi Takakura (高倉 千江美 Takakura Chiemi?) is the deceased wife of Kenzan Takakura, the biological mother of Shoma Takakura and the adoptive mother of Kanba Takakura and Himari Takakura.

Chiemi is a gentle, caring and patient mother that cares for her children.

Himari Takakura[]
As seen in Episode 9, we can assume Chiemi professes a strong and selfless love for her daughter Himari; she was extremely comprehensive and benign with her, despite Himari's grudge and egoist response, that accidentally caused Chiemi to get severely physically injured.
History[]
Chiemi is particularly involved in the terrorist attack 16 years ago, making her and her husband as the suspect of the bombing in the subway. She was never seen til then.
Etymology[]
- The name Chiemi means "thousand" (千) (chi), "bay, inlet" (江) (e) and "beautiful" (美) (mi).
- Chiemi's surname Takakura means "tall, high" (高) (taka) and "warehouse, storehouse, barn, treasury, granary, cellar, magazine, godown, depository, elevator, storage place, repository, supply shed, grain elevator, stockpile, arsenal" (倉) (kura).
